He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he died a short time later. Police discovered a .40-caliber fired cartridge casing nearby.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>The killing comes six days after police discovered a man shot to death near the center\u2019s baseball field. It was shortly after 10 p.m. on June 20, when police responding to a call for a shooting, found the 45-year-old victim suffering from gunshot wounds while seated on bleachers near the field. The victim, who had been shot in the torso, was pronounced dead at the scene.
