That translates to an increase of about 0.52 degrees per decade.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>The city on Tuesday declared a \u201cheat health emergency\u201d in effect from 1 p.m. Wednesday through 8 p.m. Saturday. Across the Northeast, outdoor events are being rescheduled or canceled, citing the heat.
