Brown, who was traded from the Eagles to the New England Patriots for draft picks on June 1, have a lot more in common than their trade similarities and last name \u2014 or rather, their family name. They\u2019re cousins.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Jaylen Brown has revealed him and AJ Brown are cousins \ud83e\udd2f pic.twitter.com\/wqo5NSDBXk<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 AJ Muse (@AJMusePatriots) July 7, 2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Jaylen revealed on Tuesday that the two are connected through their respective grandfathers who are brothers, making them first cousins once removed.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>\u201cI didn\u2019t know that, my grandpa just told me,\u201d Jaylen said in the clip. \u201cI don\u2019t think he knows that either.\u201d <\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>But if A.J. didn\u2019t know before, he does now. He responded on Instagram by posting a clip from the movie <i>Poetic Justice<\/i> on his story with the caption \u201cBig Cuz hit me!\u201d<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>#Patriots WR A.J.
