The Phillies outfielder\u2019s stellar season \u2014 and first All-Star Game nod \u2014 gave Victus the perfect excuse.<\/p><p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/corporate-movers-usa.com\/?p=2376\">Phillies prospect Gage Wood will start in the MLB Futures Game at Citizens Bank Park<\/a><\/p><div><\/div><p>\u201cHe was just a perfect fit,\u201d Victus marketing director Doug Trimble said. \u201cJust personality-wise, and obviously being a Philly guy made the most sense. The stars just aligned that he ended up being one of the best hitters in baseball this year.\u201d<\/p><div><\/div><div><\/div><p>On Wednesday, Victus posted a teaser for the company\u2019s new Philly Cheesesteak-inspired bat on X. The video shows Marsh, decked out in his full Phillies uniform, order a \u201cVictus with onions\u201d at Angelo\u2019s Pizzeria. Marsh then walks out of the South Philly staple to unwrap an abnormally long sandwich. Grinning, the \u201cwet bandit\u201d reveals a Victus bat hidden under the parchment paper. <\/p><div><\/div><div><div><blockquote><p>An All-Star Cheesesteak order from Brandon Marsh. The Victus..with Onions. #MLB #ALLSTARGAME #Philly #Cheesesteak pic.twitter.com\/cu5ovIGHlK<\/p>\u2014 Victus Sports (@VictusSports) July 8, 2026<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/div><div><\/div><p>In the background, customers look on in awe at Marsh, who looks like he walked straight out of the outfield. <\/p><div><\/div><p>Those reactions were real. Between Marsh\u2019s stringent schedule with the Phillies and Angelo\u2019s limited hours, Victus decided it would be easiest to shoot the commercial quickly while the restaurant was open. The ad, along with a few shorter spots posted to social media, were completed in one-take. <\/p><div><\/div><div><\/div><p>\u201cIt was a cool moment,\u201d Trimble said. \u201c[Marsh] thought it was cool. He had a blast the whole day. I was kind of just running through concepts with him, and he was down for all of it.\u201d <\/p><div><\/div><div><\/div><div><\/div><p>Why Angelo\u2019s? More important though, Trimble felt partnering with the pizzeria would show Victus is a brand that is true to the area. Philadelphians, as he pointed out, are usually more drawn to a place like Angelo\u2019s than more traditional spots. <\/p><div><\/div><div><\/div><p>\u201cIt\u2019s just letting people know that we\u2019re local to Philly,\u201d Trimble said. \u201cThis is our hometown All-Star Game. Doing the whole collection with cheesesteaks and Marsh and the Phillies is just a part of that storytelling we\u2019re trying to do.\u201d <\/p><div><\/div><div><\/div><div><\/div><p>When designing the bats themselves, there were also conversations around what type of steak they should resemble. <\/p><div><\/div><p>Some wanted \u201cwhiz\u201d on the bat while others wanted the cheese to resemble cooper sharp.
