Under Nase, Cornell finished sixth at the 2026 Intercollegiate Rowing Association national championship.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Nase\u2019s coaching career started at Penn in 2017, where he served as an assistant coach for the men\u2019s lightweight program. Women\u2019s rowing is one of the largest and most competitive sports in college athletics \u2014 the female equivalent of college football in scale and depth. <\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>\u201cPenn has the foundation for success: a world-class boathouse, a phenomenal body of water in the Schuylkill, and an amazing strength and conditioning facility in the Greene Family Intercollegiate Strength and Conditioning Center, all right in the heart of Philadelphia.\u201d<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Penn finished seventh at this years\u2019 Ivy League championship, with its third varsity eight boat earning bronze.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>\u201cComing into this role, I want to listen first, then lead,\u201d Nase said. \u201cMy goal is to build a program where every athlete feels heard, supported, and pushed to become the best version of herself on and off the water.
