Caldwell-Pope will reunite with recently signed megastar LeBron James, his former teammate with the Los Angeles Lakers including during the 2019-2020 championship season.<\/p><div><\/div><div><\/div><div><\/div><p>The Sixers also had the option of waiving Broome and stretching his $2.1 million cap hit over seven seasons \u2014 reducing it to $300,000 per year \u2014 because his 2027-28 and 2028-29 salaries were nonguaranteed, according to the Athletic. But this trade solves that issue in one fell swoop.<\/p><div><\/div><p>Broome played in only 11 games for the Sixers during a rookie season that was interrupted by late-February meniscus surgery.
