And beyond turn signals and hazard lights, certain warnings like seat belt reminders and \u201ckey left in ignition\u201d buzzers may also not function as a result.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>These display failures increase crash risks \u2014 both for drivers who may not be able to see telltale indicators and \u201cthe ability of other road users to recognize the driver\u2019s intent to change direction or indicate a vehicle hazard,\u201d the NHTSA warns.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Texas-based Toyota Motor North America \u2014 a subsidiary of the larger Japanese automaker \u2014 says it will notify all known owners of the affected Camrys to bring their vehicles into a certified dealer. In the meantime, customers can check the NHTSA\u2019s and Toyota\u2019s online recall lookups to see if their car is affected.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Toyota confirmed to the Associated Press via email Tuesday that its recall affects markets in North America, the Middle East, Asia, and some countries in other regions.
