Geiner Mart\u00ednez, Ben Bender, Jeremy Rafanello and Stas Korzeniowski all saw the pitch for the first time since the FIFA World Cup break, and Union II defender Rafael Uzc\u00e1tegui made his first appearance with the club\u2019s first team.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>\u201cWe would have needed to win by four goals,\u201d Richter said after the match. \u201cThat is something that we\u2019re capable of, but not many games are going to go exactly that way. If you push for that, win 3-0, and you don\u2019t get it, that leaves you tired on Sunday.\u201d<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Santos Laguna\u2019s Salvador Mariscal was shown a yellow card in the 25th minute for a hard foul on Agust\u00edn Anello. This is the mentality that we have to have. That\u2019s what I\u2019m disappointed from tonight. I didn\u2019t see that fire at the end of the game that I saw in the last few weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Trailing, Richter made a series of changes in the 59th minute. Mart\u00ednez was checked by doctors after a collision inside the 18-yard box in the 59th, but he returned to play. However, he was escorted off the field by medical staff minutes after he returned.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>\u201cNormally, when you have to come out with a head injury, that\u2019s not great,\u201d Richter said after the match. \u201cHopefully he\u2019s OK, and if it is something, then it\u2019s something minor, but we\u2019ll get the answer on that tonight or tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Kellan LeBlanc made his debut for the Union\u2019s first team, coming off the bench for Anello in the 76th minute.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Sundstrom was shown a yellow card in the 84th minute, and Franco Pardo was cautioned in the 86th minute.
