{"id":391,"date":"2026-06-02T19:16:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-02T19:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/corporate-movers-usa.com\/?p=391"},"modified":"2026-06-02T19:16:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-02T19:16:00","slug":"man-who-went-viral-for-carrying-assault-style-weapon-around-kensington-has-bail-reduced-from-1-million-to-350k","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/corporate-movers-usa.com\/?p=391","title":{"rendered":"Man who went viral for carrying assault-style weapon around Kensington has bail reduced from $1 million to $350k"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<div><audio><\/audio><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>A man who went viral online for carrying an assault-style firearm in Kensington \u2014 and who was later accused of giving weapons to a man legally barred from having them \u2014 waived his right to a preliminary hearing on firearms charges Tuesday in exchange for reduced bail. <\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/corporate-movers-usa.com\/?p=389\">FIFA Fan Festival guide: Know before you go, road closures, vendors, and more<\/a><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>In April, Kobe Artis, 24, of New Kensington, began appearing in Instagram and TikTok videos in which he walked around the neighborhood cracking jokes, brandishing high-powered guns, and espousing his opinions on the state\u2019s firearms laws to people on the street. <\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>The clips show the Western Pennsylvania man had a penchant for encouraging others to carry firearms. He wanted to \u201chand out [assault weapons] to every 18-year-old with an ID,\u201d he said in one video, and in another, he posed alongside a young man holding a machine gun. <\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Prosecutorsin May accused Artis of giving firearms to a 34-year-old man who was prohibited from having them because of a felony conviction. He was charged with illegally selling firearms and other violations of the state\u2019s gun transfer laws. <\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>In court Tuesday, Artis wore a green T-shirt that had a graphic of two hands bound in shackles. <\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>He told Municipal Court Judge Bradley K.
