But now she plans to move to an even older house in the area.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>The 2,099-square-foot house on about five acres in Haycock Township, originally built in the 1830s, was totally renovated in 2021.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Improvements included an architectural shingle roof, a metal porch roof, 200-amp electrical service, an oil-fired boiler, five-zone HVAC, and a new septic system in 2023.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Historic details include triple-track storm windows, original shutters and hardware, beam ceilings, 18-inch windowsills and original fireplaces.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>A flagstone foyer connects the farmhouse to the summer kitchen, which allowed early owners to cook without heating the rest of the house.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/corporate-movers-usa.com\/?p=4046\">Resident sues over public pool deal | Inquirer Greater Abington<\/a><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>The kitchen has handcrafted soft-close cabinetry, granite countertops, a center island, stainless steel farmhouse sink, a Frigidaire dishwasher, and GE French-door refrigerator.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>The first-floor bathroom has stone flooring, an exposed stone wall, granite vanity, porcelain sink, subway-tiled shower with glass enclosure, and recessed lighting.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>The dining room has a large fireplace and ample storage space.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>The living room has refinished chestnut floors, exposed beams, and a wood-burning stone fireplace.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Upstairs are the primary bedroom and a second adjoined bedroom, which could be converted to a dressing room, home office, or nursery.
