In March 2020, Barbara was shopping at Nordstrom Rack in Cherry Hill<\/b> when she saw a sign for an open house at the Plaza Grande. <\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

It wasn\u2019t long before she and her husband, Fred, took a tour and fell in love with a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment that had a den with a balcony, plus ample closet space for Barbara\u2019s shoe collection.<\/p>\n

The Plaza Grande is an over-55 community with 507 units among 16 buildings. It features many amenities \u2014<\/i> including an outdoor pool and a golf simulator \u2014<\/i> and is within walking distance of restaurants and shops. <\/p>\n

Willingboro<\/b> native and Pitman<\/b> resident Mark Tatulli is the creator of the long-running comic strips Li\u014d <\/i>and Heart of the City. <\/i><\/p>\n

He\u2019s now, finally, a Reuben Award winner as the 2025 Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year. <\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

He received the honor after the National Cartoonists Society nominated him for one of the top honors in his field every year for more than a decade.<\/p>\n

His other accomplishments include three Emmy Awards, becoming an internationally syndicated cartoonist, and authoring a graphic memoir and several middle-grade books. <\/p>\n
