Carter\u2019s body was found Tuesday near the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May, and a forensic analysis confirmed it was the missing teen.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>\u201cOur sincere condolences are with the juvenile victim\u2019s friends and family during this very difficult time,\u201d Wildwood police said in a statement. <\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Shyara Hill, Carter\u2019s mother, told The Inquirer her son and other special needs students traveled to the beach with school staffers to celebrate graduating eighth grade from Delta School in Philadelphia. <\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/corporate-movers-usa.com\/?p=821\">Could the FIFA World Cup reduce U.S.-South African tensions?<\/a><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>There were no lifeguards present at the beach when the students entered the ocean, and around 1:30 p.m. on June 1, police responded to several swimmers in distress. Officials said three were rescued, but Carter disappeared. <\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Delta School did not respond to a request for comment. David Weathington, the school\u2019s CEO, told NBC10 last week they were cooperating with the investigation and that the class trip \u201cappropriately supervised with the right number of staff members.\u201d<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Carter, the oldest of four siblings, was a good student and a kind and funny kid, Hill told The Inquirer.
