The image was rejected during FIFA\u2019s approval process.<\/p><div><\/div><div><div><div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div><\/div><p>Saeta said in a statement Wednesday that it would comply with the ban even though the design \u201cwas not intended as a political statement,\u201d but rather as a \u201ctribute to the men and women who contribute every day to Haiti\u2019s future.\u201d<\/p><div><\/div><div><\/div><p>The jersey featured blue to mirror the sea and red for the nation\u2019s \u201cstrength and passion,\u201d the sportswear maker said. Players wore the now-banned jersey in a warmup match against Peru last week.
