“There are quirks about it,” said Brittany, citing the twisting staircase.
“It was the character and charm,” said Christian, a federal employee, who said it would be a 45-minute to an hour commute to Philadelphia.
The Rubios have daughters aged 10 and 4 and have been pleased with the schools in Chester County.
They bought the property in 2021. But Christian’s work will soon take the family to Florida.
The three-bedroom, 2½-bathroom farmhouse is 2,360 square feet.
The property also has two barns, an additional storage structure, a covered carport, and space for four additional cars.
