Philadelphia International Airport is still experiencing some delays and cancellations Tuesday after an air traffic control equipment issue grounded all incoming flights.
As of Tuesday morning, there are 20 delays and 30 cancellations in place at PHL out of more than 700 scheduled flights on Tuesday, said PHL spokesperson Heather Redfern.
“We remind all passengers with plans to fly today to check with their airlines for the most up-to-date flight information,” Redfern said.

The Federal Aviation Administration ordered the ground stoppage Monday for all flights coming into Philadelphia after the region’s TRACON, or air traffic control center, began experiencing issues with radio frequencies. The ground stop was again lifted at about 5 p.m. Monday.
PHL experienced 436 delays and 238 cancellations yesterday, according to data from flight tracking website FlightAware. The FAA has no advisories out for PHL on Tuesday.
